Chloé Valorso

Chloe Valorso graduated from Central Saint Martins in 2016 and went on to study her masters in Sculpture, Jewellery & Metal at the Royal College of Art. In 2018, she was awarded the prestigious RCA Onno Boekhoudt scholarship to meet shamans in Indonesia and learn with them a technique of conscious breathing which she teaches today.

Using jewellery as a shamanic language, she collages organic/man made, seen/imagined materials, combining ancient symbols with modern-day culture and the digital language of motion graphics, emoji culture. Her pieces are amulets, activated when worn, empowering the wearer through their compelling symbolic qualities and deep sense of history and story-telling : an essential component in this innovative interpretation of mythology.

« Luxury is alignment. It’s consciousness in the process from the choice of materials to the emotion it evokes in the one who wears it. »

« I create amulet-sculptures, protective jewels that resonate with our inner energies and reconnect us with the animal within. » « My creations are bridges between the mineral, the vegetal, the animal, and the human. »
